The Lush Creative Showcase took place within the iconic Manchester Central building, covering a footprint of 17,317 sqm and attracting more than 3,000 visitors each day. Not only was the event the biggest in Lush’s history, it was by far the biggest single event that PDS has ever produced. It took a combined effort of 177 crew, 34 trucks and weeks of design and pre-production to pull off the unimaginable extravaganza that was the Creative Showcase.
When London agency Hue & Cry came to us with this unusual project for Brooklyn Lager we were excited to get our hands on such an iconic vehicle with such an interesting brief to meet. The combination of creative thinking, high spec detailing, modern technologies and the drive to deliver something new is what we do best here at PDS.
The tree house that we built on the South Bank in London was something never to be forgotten. It was erected on Observation Point, just outside the ITV studios for Virgin Holiday’s ‘Wonderlust’ brand on behalf of our client M&C Saatchi – in the middle of a cold, rainy and extremely windy January. From start to finish in just four weeks, the job required complex technical and creative design from us, posing huge challenges concerning structural stability, safety and weatherproofing.
